Ceremony Conditions

This agreement is entered into between Rooted in Harmony, operating online, and yourself (“I”) for this and future visits.

DISCLOSURE ABOUT CACAO:

Sacred ceremonial cacao is raw, wild-harvested, single origin, organic cacao paste. 42gms when cooked up with 250ml of spring water can bring on non-psychoactive states of awareness. This can be visual, auditory or kinesthetic.

It increases blood flow to the brain by 30-40%, and oxygen in the blood is also increased by 20%, helping you feel more mentally alert and aware. Its valeric acid content triggers the release of dopamine, anandamide and the endorphin, phenylethylamine, all of which are known as the ‘bliss molecules.’ Cacao also contains the essential amino acid tryptophan, which increases production of serotonin, an important brain chemical that helps us remain positive and happy.

IMPORTANT MEDICAL INFORMATION:

If you have high blood pressure, heart issues, caffeine intolerant, allergic to chocolate, or are on antidepressant or SSRI’s, we suggest that you refrain completely from drinking cacao, or take a very small dose of 10gms of cacao with 250ml water.

If you are on high doses of antidepressants or SSRI’s, we suggest that you refrain completely from drinking cacao. If you are taking a very low dose of SSRI’s, we suggest 10gms of cacao with 250ml water, and see how you feel.

Pregnant women who are caffeine or chocolate sensitive are advised to avoid cacao.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK:

I agree that I am voluntarily participating in an online shamanic ceremony at my own risk, and assume all risk of injury, illness, damage, arising out of any negligence, due to ignoring the guidance and dosages of Rooted in Harmony and / or any of it’s facilitators.

CONFIDENTIALITY:

All correspondence in respect of our services, including ceremony recordings provided by us, belong to us and must be kept confidential both during and after the ceremony. Such information can only be shared with our express and clear consent.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:

All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Rooted in Harmony, or its content suppliers, and is protected by United Kingdom and international copyright laws. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of Rooted in Harmony, with copyright authorship for this collection by Rooted in Harmony, and protected by UK and international copyright laws.

CONSENT:

I understand that:

The images of myself captured in the video recordings and/or photographs of all online ceremonies will be the copyright of Rooted in Harmony, and any other intellectual property which arises in the photographs/recordings will also belong to the Rooted in Harmony;

I hereby agree that all photographs and/or recordings of all online ceremonies belong to Rooted in Harmony;

By signing up to an Online Cacao Ceremony, I am agreeing to these terms and conditions.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable, we understand however, that life can get In the way. With this in mind we try to be fair with our cancellations. If for any reason you are not able to attend the event, we can offer 2 options.

You can transfer the ticket to another person for the same ceremony
With 48 hours notice, you can request for the cost of the ticket be converted to credit towards a future ceremony.

Please note: if you provide less than 48 hours notice, we will try to accommodate your request, however, there is no guarantee and you may lose the value of your ticket.
